Alice in Wonderland
It was the day of the school play. The entire school trooped down to the community hall everyone was excited and nervous at the same time.
We arrived at the hall and we all hurried off to change into our costumes. It looked amazing when we got backstage everyone in their weird and wonderfully crazy costumes. We had to wait a while behind the curtain while the teachers set up the stage. Carren and Sam came in to do the microphones and lighting.
After that we had a dress rehearsal. The play worked perfectly and everyone remembered their lines, their cues and where they were supposed to be.
The play was a great success everyone enjoyed it most people laughed at the jokes and joined in the croquet song, and everyone clapped at the end of each song and at the end of the play. Mrs Heath made a speech and thanked everyone for coming and everyone who had helped us.
We all really enjoyed taking part in Alice. Below are some photos of us onstage in our fantastic costumes.
