Brunel Challenge

On Friday 28th may Christow school investigated the achievements of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The children used books and the Internet to find out and share information. In the afternoon the KS2 children took part in the 'Brunel Challenge'. They were asked to build a bridge that would support the weight of a large apple or 3 clementines using just newspaper and tape. They worked hard and created a variety of designs many of which were very successful.
