CHRISTOW 'ONE OF THE COUNTRY'S BEST SCHOOLS'
Christow School has been mentioned in the report of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools because of the recent exceptional Ofsted report. The inspector described the school as one of the country's best along with only five other Devon schools including Widecombe on the Moor and Torquay Boys Grammar. Ofsted considered the school outstanding and that Christow provides education of the highest quality.
Head Teacher Mrs Heath spoke to us earlier today,
"We were all thrilled to bits, it is brilliant, I am so proud of everyone".
The school appeared on ITV1's Westcountry Live, and some pupils were on the hit show, Good Morning Devon that is on BBC Radio Devon. The school would like to thank everyone who helped us create such an amazing school!
