Christow Triumph in Football Tournament
On the 22nd April we went to the football tournament at Cheriton Bishop. The team was Jamie, Harry, Kieron, Guy, Matthew. J, Matthew C, Josh, Lucie, Sam and Megan. With a bit of trouble finding the school we finally arrived. When we got there we saw that there were six teams altogether. After seeing the competition we started to warm up and get ready for our first game. Our first game was against Cheriton and we won with a satisfactory 2-1, Harry scoring both of Christow's goals, one with a magnificent overhead kick.
The second team we played against the score ended up 3-1 to us. Jamie scored 2 goals and Harry scored 1. after the second match we had lunch and had a muck around then got ready for our third match. In our third match Harry scored an outstanding three goals to bring it to a total of three nil. In our fourth match we were up against the hardest team so far the score ended up 1- 0 kieron scoring the winning goal. At the end of the tournament we ended up with the trophy.
