New Smartboard and Projector for Bowden
In Bowden we have just had a new Smartboard and projector installed. We will be using it a lot! The Smartboard arrived on the 17/03/05. It took 3 hours until we could use it. It's very useful. It projects an image of the computer screen onto it and you can operate software by touching the board. You can also use the electronic pens to add notes which can then be saved onto the computer. We've used the Smartboard in our Literacy and Numeracy lessons. The Smartboard can also be used to show Videos and DVDs.

P.T.F.A. Purchase New Equipment
The P.T.F.A. have bought us some new audio-visual equipment for our classrooms. Bowden has a new combined Video and DVD player (which is now connected up to the Smartboard), Kennick has a combined TV, Video & DVD player and Hedgemoor have a very smart 17" Flatscreen TV and a combined Video and DVD player. The TV will be wall mounted early next term so Hedgemoor will then be able to enjoy some of their special Early Learning TV programs and videos.
