Our Visit to the Bridford Woodland Trust
"When we went to the Bridford Woodland Trust we had a brilliant day out. First we learnt how to identify trees by looking at the shapes and sizes of the leaves then we had a break. After break we did bug hunting. We had a pot and caught the bugs and looked to see if they had wings and six legs to work out if it was an insect or not. After lunch we did flower identification we looked at the shape of the petals and how tall or short they were to find out what kind of flower it was but to make it easier we had a book to help us. "

"We went to the Woodland Park. We collected up insects and we put them in a pot. We counted their legs and we wrote down how many they had. Then we counted their body parts. Next we learnt about flowers we had another sheet. We looked at the petals, we counted them and wrote the numbers on the sheet."
