Queen Elizabeth's 80th Birthday Celebrations

On Friday the 16th June Christow school celebrated the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth 11. All the children came to school dressed in a fashion from the decades of Queen Elizabeth's reign. We started the day with a fashion parade and photo shoot in the lower playground. After that the children went off to their classrooms and did some research into the life of Queen Elizabeth. Kennick children had prepared some quizzes and wordsearches for each other. In the afternoon we all enjoyed some really brilliant games in the school grounds. These had been designed and made and were run by the Year 5 and 6 children. Finally, we all enjoyed a fantastic tea provided by all the parents and the PTFA.
